The secret lies in its apparent lightness. We leave a precise 10 mm gap between each handcrafted crate made of solid lumber. This "floating effect" gives even large shelving units an airy, open structure. This gives your favorite pieces the space they need to shine.
The surface is in a class of its own: a limewashed formula developed in-house that gives the robust wood a light, elegant patina. A protective wax coating ensures a velvety feel and durability. "Klaus" is more than a shelf. It's an architectural statement that transforms order into art.
